Using water to dispose of water makes no economic sense, particularly in a world facing a very limited supply of readily available fresh water. Our waterless urinals save in three important ways:

Eco Urinal Cartridge Order Forms
The Eco Urinal Cartridge provides a solution to many of the problems associated with urinals that do not use water and have replaceable cartridges. We congratulate you on your efforts to save our Natural Resources, but if you are like most owners of non-water using urinals you are probably frustrated by having to buy and replace cartridges and sealant, as well as dealing with the malfunction problems caused by various cleaners and other cartridge sealant issues.

The Eco Urinal Cartridge is made of a high quality rigid plastic. Simply remove the existing replaceable cartridge, insert the Eco Urinal Cartridge and you are done. The Eco Urinal Cartridge can be removed if needed for maintenance.

The cartridge has a special elastomeric check valve attached to it. The check valve is manufactured from space age, rubber-like synthetic polymer, used for leg urinals for Astronauts. It is treated to roll up when liquid is not passing through it, but flexible enough to open and permit liquid flow, from an intermittent drip to high rate flows. When the check valve is closed or liquid is flowing through the check valve, it successfully resists any emission of sewer gas and any backup of sewage from the waste line.

The typical conventional Trap Primer uses 12,000 to 15,000 gallons of water per year and reports of valve failure causing flooding or dry traps are frequent. Raw sewage backup can also occur.

Capturing rain water allows the rain water to be used in your facility to lower public water consumption for irrigation, toilet flushing, cooling towers and vehicle and equipment washing.

Undesirable elements are separated from the water and the wash water and soap chemicals can be reused.
