A New Revolution In Waterless Urinal Cartridges

The Waterless Urinal revolution has provided a new method for conserving water in commercial facilities. Since the introduction of waterless urinals in the US in the early 1990's many facilities have found that flushing with water is really not necessary to maintain sanitary restroom conditions plus you can save a lot of water and money. The savings go beyond water & sewer charges. There are also savings in maintenance because there are no flush valves to deal with. The concept of touchless is automatically provided without the initial cost of expensive auto flush valves.

Now another revolution has surfaced. It is a waterless urinal cartridge that you do not have to spend money to replace. Since the Eco Urinal Cartridge does not require sealant it is not adversely affected by restroom cleaners or by pouring water into the urinal. The Eco Urinal Cartridge provides a solution to many of the problems associated with urinals that do not use water and have replaceable cartridges with sealant. Solid waste issues are also addressed since you do not have to continually send replaceable cartridges to the landfill. Sometimes necessity is indeed the "Mother of Invention". Such is the case with the Eco Urinal Cartridge designed specifically for use in non-water using urinals.

The Eco Urinal Cartridge is manufactured by Ecotech Water LLC and is made of a high quality rigid ABS plastic and is manufactured to fit into non-water using urinals without alteration. Simply remove the existing replaceable cartridge and insert the Eco Urinal Cartridge. The Eco Urinal Cartridge can be removed if needed for maintenance.

The Eco Urinal Cartridge has a special elastomeric check valve attached to it. The check valve is manufactured from space age, rubber-like synthetic polymer. It is treated to roll up when liquid is not passing through it, but flexible enough to open and permit liquid flow, from an intermittent drip to high rate flows. When the check valve is closed or liquid is flowing through the check valve, it successfully resists any emission of sewer gas and any backup of sewage from the waste line.

Code Compliance Certifications have also been addressed: The Ecotech Eco Urinal cartridge is compliant with ANSI Z124.9-04, section 7.5, as referenced in the IAPMO IGC 161-2004, and the ICC EG 267 for waterless urinals. These guides are published as the standards for waterless urinals.

The Eco Urinal Cartridge comes with a lifetime warranty. Should any defect or malfunction in the material occur within the lifetime of the urinal into which it was originally installed the Eco Urinal Cartridge will be replaced without charge.
